Sustainability and Safety Coordinator Position at Sartorius

We are looking for a highly motivated Sustainability and Safety Coordinator to support our Environment Health and Safety department in implementing sustainable practices and ensuring a safe working environment.

This role involves collaborating with our team to develop and implement policies and practices that promote environmental protection and employee health and safety.

About the Role
  • Develop and implement policies and practices to reduce the environmental impact of our operations and improve overall sustainability.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
  • Investigate incidents and provide recommendations to prevent similar incidents in the future.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on environmental protection and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote a culture of sustainability and safety.
Salary Information

A competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements
  • NEBOSH National Certificate or IOSH Certificate.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry, although candidates from other industries in manufacturing/production environments will also be considered.
  • Deep understanding of environmental regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
