Care Home Activity Coordinator

Salary InformationThe salary for this role is £11.44 per hour, offering a competitive rate for experienced professionals. Additionally, we provide various benefits to support your personal and professional growth.
Job Description- To foster meaningful relationships with our residents, understanding their needs and preferences to create a sense of belonging.
- Deliver high-quality care and support to all residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
- Maintain effective communication with the management team, care assistants, chef, and relatives to guarantee a smooth operation and collaborative environment.
- Accurately complete records as required, discussing the type and quantity with the manager on a monthly basis to ensure compliance.
- Promote confidentiality at all times, respecting client, staff, and business information.
- Plan engaging daytime and evening activities, considering resident interests and hobbies to encourage participation.
- Stay vigilant about Health and Safety requirements, coordinating activities with other services to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Create a monthly activity planner, collaborating with other departments to deliver a comprehensive program.
- Encourage resident involvement in activities, documenting outcomes and creating resident profiles to understand their preferences.
- Work collaboratively with the team to provide necessary support, upholding the home's aims and objectives while prioritizing resident needs.
This role requires an individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a strong passion for providing exceptional care and support. A qualification in social care or a related field is desirable.
