Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Planning Assistant to join our team at Search. As a key member of our financial services team, you will play a vital role in assisting our Private Client Financial Planners in providing exceptional financial planning and advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning Support: Assist in the preparation of financial planning reports, ensuring they meet and exceed agreed activity targets.
  • Technical Knowledge: Develop and maintain technical and market awareness knowledge to provide effective advice to clients.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards, maintaining accurate records and logging CPD requirements as necessary.
  • Client Communication: Develop and maintain report writing and communication skills to effectively communicate with clients.
  • Project-Based Work: Undertake project-based work as required, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to learn.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in financial services, preferably in a financial planning, research, or technical capacity.
  • Qualifications: Diploma qualified, with a strong desire to become Chartered.
  • Skills: Excellent listening and communication skills, technical competence, and proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office and database management.
  • Personal Qualities: Adaptable, able to prioritize workload, and committed to ongoing development.
