Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Psychologist to join our team at Cygnet Wallace Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality psychological assessments and therapies to individuals with complex mental health needs.

About the Role

This is a part-time position, working 24 hours per week, and is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and passionate Psychologist to make a positive difference in the lives of our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out comprehensive psychological assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide evidence-based therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and schema-focused therapy
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct regular reviews and evaluations to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Provide training and supervision to colleagues and consultation to teams
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a HCPC registered Clinical/Forensic/Counselling Psychologist with experience in a clinical forensic or mental health setting. You will also need to have experience of working within a Learning Disabilities Service and be trained in complex therapies such as Schema focused, Cognitive Analytical and DBT.
