Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join our Corporate Services team at Atom Bank. As a key member of the team, you will provide legal support and advice to various departments, including Capital Raising, Marketing, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal support and advice on corporate activities, including capital raising, marketing, and operations.
  • Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that legal risks are identified and mitigated.
  • Act as informal support to junior team members through coaching and mentoring.
  • Negotiate, draft, and advise on contracts between Atom Bank and its third parties.
  • Support project teams to identify and account for all legal risks.

Requirements

  • Law degree or similar.
  • Qualified Legal Professional, including Newly Qualified.
  • Strong experience in general commercial law, including outsourcing contracts and software agreements.
  • Experience in property law.
  • Demonstrable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • High energy.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to break down complex legal jargon into easy-to-understand terms.
