Solution Design Specialist

As a key member of our Professional Services team, you will play a critical role in delivering customer success stories. The Solution Designer will work closely with customers throughout the delivery of their requirements, ensuring seamless handovers to our Managed Service team post-implementation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Documenting requirements, including producing diagrams using appropriate tools and following Lifecycle standard processes and procedures.
  • Facilitating the creation and management of Statements of Work (SOWs) for requested requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impact assessments and comprehensive SOWs.
  • Working with Development and Quality Assurance teams to estimate effort for each project and support project managers in compiling capacity plans.
  • Handing over requirements to the development team and supporting throughout the development cycle, including planning, confirming scope, and advising on priorities.
  • Attending regular team stand-ups to support delivery of projects that meet requirements on time.
  • Producing presentation packs to support playback of solution design to customers and internal teams.
  • Handing over development items to Managed Service and customer operation teams with training and documentation as required.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience in customer-facing cross-functional teams with experience of working with agile methodologies.
  • Skilled at writing solution documentation that supports knowledge transfer to development, QA, and operational teams.
  • Organisational skills and the flexibility to adapt to fast-paced change and deployments.
