About the Role

Klaviyo Inc. is seeking a seasoned International In-House Counsel to provide critical legal support for our rapidly growing business in EMEA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial Contract Management: Structure, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including master services agreements, data processing agreements, and non-disclosure agreements, ensuring effective risk management and compliance with corporate policies.
  • Regional Support: Collaborate with regional sales teams and procurement teams to provide guidance on customer deals and supplier contracts, driving business growth and success.
  • Legal Resources and Know-How: Develop and maintain comprehensive legal resources and know-how for field teams, enhancing their ability to navigate complex legal issues.
  • Agreement Review and Compliance: Conduct thorough reviews of agreements to ensure they manage business risk and comply with applicable corporate policies, maintaining a high level of regulatory compliance.
  • Corporate and Compliance Policies: Develop and implement corporate and compliance policies that meet local market requirements, fostering a culture of compliance within the organization.
  • Ad-Hoc Legal Support: Provide timely and effective ad-hoc legal support to business teams on data protection, product, and marketing matters, facilitating informed decision-making.
Requirements
  • A qualified lawyer with significant in-house experience, preferably in a fast-growing technology company.
  • A pragmatic and solution-driven creative thinker with sound business judgment, capable of navigating complex legal and business issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate well with diverse teams, translating technical and legal concepts into actionable insights.
  • Ability to multi-task and produce quality work products in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and deadlines effectively.
