We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Yard Person at our Thirsk branch. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the yard, ensuring the smooth dispatch and receipt of goods, and maintaining a clean and presentable environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the yard, including the receipt and dispatch of goods, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Work closely with the workshop team to ensure the efficient completion of Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on machinery.
- Liaise with the sales team to coordinate the delivery of tractors to customers.
- Organize the yard, including the arrival and dispatch of goods, and ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Support other team members to ensure targets and tasks are completed.
- Deliver excellent customer service, responding promptly to customer enquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Ensure that all company policies and procedures are adhered to, particularly in relation to Health, Safety, and Environment.
- Team player with a genuine interest in helping others.
- Qualified Forklift Truck and Telehandler Driver with experience in actively loading and unloading vehicles.
- Full UK driver's license to enable van deliveries to customers.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to liaise between departments.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to deal with internal and external customers.
