Opportunities for Experienced Leaders

Oseq Childcare is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Children's Home Manager to lead our new residential care provision in Bradford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for children and young people aged 8-18 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Children's Home, ensuring compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and care standards.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to promote the safeguarding of young people's welfare and ensure their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of staff to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
  • Participate in the on-call roster to provide 24/7 support to the Children's Home.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

  • QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare or working towards.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a residential childcare setting.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations and care standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
