Point72 Academy Investment Analyst Program

We're seeking talented individuals to join our 2025 classes as Investment Analyst Trainees.

The Point72 Academy Investment Analyst Program is a paid ten-month training program designed to introduce you to the buy-side and prepare you for a potential career as an analyst at Point72.

We welcome students from all academic disciplines who can effectively manage teamwork, exhibit integrity, possess intellectual curiosity, demonstrate leadership potential, and express a keen interest in the financial markets.

As an Investment Analyst Trainee, you'll have the opportunity to develop sophisticated company analysis and modeling skills from our Academy faculty, investment professionals, and professors from some of the world's leading universities.

You'll learn statistics, accounting, financial modeling, data analysis, coding, and more, and gain firsthand experience and valuable mentorship from our investment professionals during your rotations.

Upon successful graduation, you'll have the opportunity to join a network of more than 180 Point72 Academy graduates who we have placed at our firm, as of April 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop sophisticated financial models to help you understand the businesses you cover and how they are changing.
  • Constantly develop your skills through coaching from your Portfolio Manager and by using the full breadth of the Professional Development resources available to you.

Requirements:

  • A current student who will graduate from university between December 2024 and July 2025.
  • Committed to continued success in your academic and professional career with the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, and excellence.
  • Highly self-driven and motivated to explore a career in finance.

What to Expect:

  • Your online application, essays, and resume will serve as an introduction to who you are as a candidate. Once you complete the online application, we will begin reviewing your profile.
  • Following submission and review of your case study, the next step would be virtual one-on-one interviews with various members of the Academy team, if selected.
