AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Buildings and Places business line.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and taking ownership of all aspects of a given project, proactively engaging with the client, construction, and design team to drive the project forward.

Main Responsibilities:

Manage and take ownership of all aspects of a given project
Proactively engage with the client, construction, and design team to drive the project forward
Provide strategic advice on project challenges to support the client achieving their goals
Identify and monitor project risks and opportunities
Manage stakeholders, taking account of their levels of influence and particular interests
Establish and maintain project governance reviews
Ensure commissions are managed to the right quality standards and are completed efficiently and on time
Provide leadership within project management business and provide leadership and mentoring to the team
Manage the delivery of project management team outputs, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards

Requirements:

Good working knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts or similar
Collaborative management skills
Specific industry and project experience
Valid UK driving licence
Professional Qualified - ideally Project Management/Engineering/Construction/Quantity Surveying Degree
