  • AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Buildings and Places business line.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and taking ownership of all aspects of a given project, proactively engaging with the client, construction, and design team to drive the project forward.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and take ownership of all aspects of a given project
  • Proactively engage with the client, construction, and design team to drive the project forward
  • Provide strategic advice on project challenges to support the client achieving their goals
  • Identify and monitor project risks and opportunities
  • Manage stakeholders, taking account of their levels of influence and particular interests
  • Establish and maintain project governance reviews
  • Ensure commissions are managed to the right quality standards and are completed efficiently and on time
  • Provide leadership within project management business and provide leadership and mentoring to the team
  • Manage the delivery of project management team outputs, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards

Requirements:

  • Good working knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts or similar
  • Collaborative management skills
  • Specific industry and project experience
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Professional Qualified - ideally Project Management/Engineering/Construction/Quantity Surveying Degree
