This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a highly respected engineering consultancy, Tony Gee and Partners, as a Civil Structural Engineer specializing in bridge design.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled engineer with extensive experience in civil engineering design, particularly in the field of bridge loading to Eurocodes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel and concrete design, as well as experience in computer software for structure analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on the design of major bridge projects across the UK, ensuring adherence to Eurocodes and delivery of high-quality designs.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to produce design deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and other documentation.
  • Maintain a high level of technical expertise and stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their expectations.
Requirements
  • BEng or MEng degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of four years' post-graduation experience in civil engineering design, with a focus on bridge design and loading to Eurocodes.
  • Extensive knowledge of Eurocodes, steel, and concrete design, as well as experience with computer software for structure analysis.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
What We Offer

Tony Gee and Partners offers a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and career growth.
