AWS DevOps Engineer

At Smartedge Solutions Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with our existing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure identity and access management solutions using AWS services, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure, including containerization and API management platforms, to support our DevOps environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate information security risks, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.
- Provide expert guidance on IT compliance standards, particularly in design and implementation, to ensure our organization remains secure and compliant.
- Manage relationships with senior stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and influence across the organization.
- Analyze data to inform reporting and decision-making, leveraging strong IT skills to drive business outcomes.
Requirements:
- Significant prior experience as a subject matter expert in Identity and Access Management, with deep technical knowledge of identity management within Microsoft and Linux environments.
- Strong knowledge of SAML/OAUTH protocols and experience in managing information security risk relating to identity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external agencies.
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Knowledge of identity and access management within a DevOps environment, including API Management platforms, containerization, and cloud platforms.
- Experience in Information Security Auditing Techniques and managing information security for operational technology.
- Understanding of business areas such as Suppliers and Retailers and how their systems work.
