About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Engineer to join our team and play a key role within the Engineering division. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career and join a global business with a £2 billion + turnover.

In this position, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all site equipment in line with department and operational strategy; while also ensuring all engineering activity complies with technical legislation. Strong communication and a proactive hands-on approach are key to this role to drive performance and manage effective working relationships. A competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum is offered to successful candidates.

The ideal candidate will have an electrical qualification with extensive additional mechanical ability/experience, ONC or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical, PLC Programming/Diagnostic Knowledge, Qualified to 17th edition wiring regulations, Proven FMCG work experience, Work with and install single/three phase electrical circuits, Effective communication skills with confidence to challenge and question, Flexible and self-motivated, Positive attitude to work and a can-do attitude, Ability to be logical and analytical, and Desirable skills/experience: IOSH Certificate, Knowledge of VFFM's and weighing equipment.
