Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Composite Design Engineer to join our team of composite designers working on the next generation fighter aircraft. This is a unique opportunity to work with a world-leading aerospace company and contribute to the development of cutting-edge composite structures.

Responsibilities
  • Specialize in the use of composites in primary and secondary structural design.
  • Develop and detail design of composite structures, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards.
  • Interface with specialists, manufacturing facilities, and external suppliers to analyze problems and find effective solutions.
  • Assist in ensuring that composite structure design meets program requirements and is delivered on time.
  • Release model-based definition of composite structure to aerospace standards, enabling efficient manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with the team to define the most effective way to meet Means of Compliance standards in terms of time, cost, and quality.
Requirements
  • Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Good fundamental knowledge of aircraft structures.
  • Hands-on experience in developing and building composite structures to a given standard.
  • Detailed understanding of composite design using multiple materials and methods.
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5 Solid Modelling, Surfacing, Composite Workbench (CPD), and other relevant tools.
