Senior Finance Analyst Job Description

This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing, consolidating, and interpreting financial analysis from various sources. They will also maintain and improve analytical processes to support senior management in making informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing large sets of financial and non-financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Maintaining and delivering analytical processes to support senior management
  • Reviewing month-end and forecast commentary provided by FP&A and identifying items or variances requiring deeper analysis
  • Carrying out such analysis and supporting M&A projects where modelling or analysis is required
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of financial and analytical experience
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./For example economics, statistics, engineering, computer science, data science, business analytics, finance/accounting)
  • Advanced Excel skills with modelling experience
  • CFA or appetite to study for CFA qualification would be encouraged
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or local equivalent) would also be relevant
