Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at Pybus Recruitment Ltd. As an HGV Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles. You will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine maintenance on HGVs to ensure optimal performance
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
  • Fabricate and weld components as needed
  • Assemble and disassemble parts with precision
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
  • Operate power tools and forklifts safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed
Requirements
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, welding, soldering, and power tools
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on exceeding client expectations
  • Ability to assemble, maintain, and repair HGVs effectively
  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Knowledge of electrical systems in vehicles is advantageous
  • Forklift operation experience is a plus
