About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Communications and Public Affairs Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing strategic communications and public affairs support to our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic communications plans to promote our brand and reputation.
- Provide advice and guidance on external affairs and policy matters.
- Identify and analyze emerging issues and trends, and provide recommendations to senior management.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and communications, including media and government.
- Develop and maintain high-quality communication assets, including reports, briefings, and correspondence.
- Assist in the development and implementation of crisis communications plans.
- Measure and evaluate the impact and influence of our communications and engagement activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in communications and public affairs, with a strong understanding of stakeholder management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear and actionable insights.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and commercially.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Experience in event management and hosting, with a strong understanding of how to create engaging and effective communications and engagement activities.
