Group Reporting Accountant

Key Responsibilities
As a Group Reporting Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing the monthly consolidated cashflow, balance sheet, and income statement. You will also review and challenge inputs from finance teams for results, forecasts, and budgets, and post certain adjustments through journals on behalf of the Group.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform month-end controls, including balance sheet (payroll and intercompany) and system reconciliations.
- Manage accounting responsibility for central cost centers, including certain transformation activities.
- Provide guidance and training to Finance on reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes and systems.
- Review and challenge the monthly Board report.
- Support the external reporting team with delivery of our year-end accounts and audit.
- Support projects within Group Finance across transformation, technical accounting, systems, and fixed assets.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified chartered accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with a strong accounting background and experience of external financial reporting. You will also need strong communication and relationship management skills, as well as experience of working in a team towards a common objective within tight deadlines.
Desirable Skills
Experience of using company IT systems, including SAP and HFM, would be desirable.
