Job Title: Facilities Assistant – Public Enquiry Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Assistant to join our team as a Public Enquiry Officer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling enquiries and complaints, and offering advice and guidance to the public.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent Kent Police as the first point of contact for members of the public.
  • Operate Police computer systems according to Service guidelines.
  • Receive and administer property.
  • Ensure the security, safety, and tidiness of the station reception office.
  • Work a 30-hour week on a 7-day shift rota with the possibility of further hours when available.
  • Report to the Public Enquiry Officer Team Leader.

Requirements:

  • A good standard of education to GCSE A-C level (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics or experience to this standard.
  • Diligent customer service attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Good IT skills (training will be provided on Police systems).
  • Subject to vetting by Kent Police.
