Electrical Maintenance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Acorn by Synergie. As a key member of our Electrical Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and control engineering craft and contractors to support manufacturing site operations.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Provide critical expertise in resolving faults quickly to ensure manufacturing continuity and high standards of quality.
  • Manage and allocate resources for planned maintenance schedules and ensure contractor labor is organized effectively.
  • Monitor engineering and contract work quality and cost efficiency, ensuring projects remain within budget.
  • Develop expertise in maintenance techniques and stay up-to-date with the latest equipment developments.
Requirements:
  • Sound practical knowledge of Electrical Engineering, ideally with several years of relevant experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
  • Qualified to HNC level or have equivalent experience.
  • Strong supervisory skills to ensure safe and efficient execution of engineering repair work.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
