We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Yard Manager to join our team at AGM Construction Recruitment.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations in the yard, ensuring a safe and organized working environment. This includes stock management, maintenance, and overseeing deliveries to construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team and manage a busy yard/warehouse area.
- Manage current stock and communicate shortages promptly to minimize disruption.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and tidy working environment.
- Oversee loading and unloading of materials.
- Implement security measures for the yard.
Requirements:
- Previous experience managing a building depot/yard is preferred.
- Strong communication and team management skills.
- Proficient in computer use, able to utilize tablets for equipment management.
- Counterbalance license preferred but not essential.
- Valid driving license required.
- Self-motivated with ability to work under pressure.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
