Job Summary:

Ford & Slater Limited, a leading family-run business, is seeking a skilled Night Shift HGV Technician to join our team at our Spalding dealership. As a Night Shift HGV Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the maintenance and repair of our fleet of trucks and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of trucks and vehicles
  • Conduct safety inspections and prepare vehicles for MOTs
  • Diagnose faults and ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer procedures
  • Participate in breakdowns and provide technical support as needed
  • Complete all paperwork, including job cards and service records, accurately and efficiently

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Technician/Mechanic within the HGV, Commercial Vehicle, LGV, PSV, Heavy Plant, Car, or associated sector
  • Qualified to Level 3 (C&G, NVQ, or equivalent) in Commercial Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Excellent technical knowledge and ability to diagnose faults
  • Full UK driving licence

What We Offer:

  • 4 nights per week, Monday to Thursday, 8pm to 6:30am
