Job Description

As a key member of our team at Sherborne Talent Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of product-oriented teams that deliver exceptional software to our customers.

In a fast-paced environment driven by innovation, you will focus on identifying and leveraging opportunities to create groundbreaking products. You will lead a dynamic team of engineers, product managers, stakeholders, and customers, working collaboratively to deliver solutions that enhance our offerings and improve customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that teams have the resources they need to succeed while being accountable for the timely delivery of products and services.
  • Coach and mentor team members in agile methodologies, applying tools and techniques such as Scrum, Kanban, and XP.
  • Oversee the administration of the scrum/kanban board, ensuring all tasks are up-to-date and tools like Jira and Shortcut function smoothly.
  • Ensure that products meet high technical standards, addressing tech debt, security, performance, and resiliency.
  • Lead planning processes in complex environments, identifying dependencies and coordinating delivery across services while coaching teams.
  • Build and maintain motivated teams, addressing issues in dynamics through Agile health checks.
  • Apply your experience across the product lifecycle to encourage continuous improvement, recognizing when to advance or pause projects.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role such as Agile Delivery Manager, Scrum Master, or Technical Delivery Manager.
  • Strong background in Agile methodologies within complex organizations.
  • Experience in building agile capabilities across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of tools and systems such as AWS, Jira, GitLab, and Databricks is desirable.
