Potter Johnson is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admissions and Attendance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our admissions and attendance processes.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and manage student attendance, identifying and addressing any issues or trends.
- Liaise with teachers, parents, and external agencies to resolve attendance-related matters.
- Administer the student information system (SIMS), ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Produce reports and statistics on attendance and admissions, as required by senior leadership.
- Assist with first aid and welfare duties, providing support to students and staff.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in email and databases.
- Knowledge and experience of SIMS, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, students, and parents.
