Conveyancing Solicitor Role
We are seeking a skilled Conveyancing Solicitor to join our team at A Team Recruitment EA Limited. As a Conveyancing Solicitor, you will be responsible for providing legal services to our clients in Residential and Commercial Conveyancing, New Build, and Shared Ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and interview clients to establish the firm's suitability to provide the necessary advice and services.
- Take a client's instructions and advise them on the law and legal issues relating to their case.
- Draft documents, letters, and contracts tailored to the client's individual needs.
- Research and analyse documents and case law to ensure the accuracy of advice and procedure.
- Coordinate the work of all parties involved and correspond with clients and opposing solicitors.
- Supervise and delegate work to trainee solicitors, paralegals, and legal secretaries as appropriate.
- Arrange and attend further client meetings where necessary to progress with the case and finalise documentation.
- Check all documentation prior to signing and implementing.
- Carry out administrative duties.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with relevant experience.
- Practical experience of handling client enquiries both by telephone and face to face within residential conveyancing.
- Fast and accurate typing skills.
- Strong drafting and legal document review skills.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
- Manage time and work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Able to manage the demands of numerous tasks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
