As a highly skilled forklift technician, you will be part of our team in the Bristol area, working closely with customers to ensure maximum availability of our products.

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a vehicle technician or mechanical engineer, with a strong background in plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners.

You will be responsible for finding, diagnosing, and rectifying faults, as well as undertaking preventative maintenance on our forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a wide range of products, from small pallet trucks to IC trucks, VNA trucks, and automated trucks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Mechanical engineering skills
  • Electrical engineering skills
  • Hydraulics knowledge

A relevant NVQ level 3 qualification or equivalent is desirable, but not essential. You must hold a full UK driving licence.

To succeed in this role, you will need good communication skills to liaise with customers and colleagues, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Other key qualities include taking pride in your work, completing tasks to the highest standard, having a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and a positive and can-do attitude.

This role also requires flexibility to adapt to changing needs and a desire to be a Linde brand ambassador.
