Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will provide one-on-one or small group support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized support to students with SEND
• Assist in the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)
• Help students engage in classroom activities and promote their independence
• Support the classroom teacher in delivering lessons tailored to individual needs
Requirements:
• Experience working with students with SEND is preferred
• A valid DBS check is essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed
