Senior Electro-Mechanical Engineer

We're partnering with a leading industrial automation and robotics specialist to find a talented Electro-Mechanical engineer to join their R&D function. This growing technology and engineering SME is expanding its presence in the Aerospace, Automotive, and construction industries.

As a Senior Electro-Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing mechanical design solutions to ensure they meet customer needs and expectations. You will provide technical guidance and direction to team members throughout the product development process, ensuring that all functional and non-functional performance requirements are met.

  • 10+ years of experience in Electro-mechanical engineering
  • Strong knowledge of CAD and other related software-aided design tools
  • Experience with 2D and 3D optical and laser-based vision systems
  • Experience with Robots and robot control systems (FANUC & KUKA preferable)
  • Previous experience delivering statistical analysis of experimental, test, and quality data
  • Proven ability to conceive and develop innovative solutions
  • A degree in Electro-Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in the Automotive or aerospace sectors
  • Prior experience with electro-mechanical power, torque, and efficiency calculations
  • Experience managing Pneumatic actuation and controls
  • A track record of new Product Introduction (NPI) methods and practices
  • Bills of Material Structure & Creation
