Job Title: Academic Accounting Finance Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Business Partner to join our team at Gryaab AB. As a key member of our Finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting and challenging Divisional Operating Directors and their teams to optimize financial and operating performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Operations' teams and Central Finance colleagues to ensure accurate and timely reporting and analysis of weekly and monthly performance.
  • Support the preparation, review, and challenge of the annual budget and subsequent forecasts for respective workstreams.
  • Develop and implement improvements to financial reporting and control processes.
  • Lead and manage ad hoc financial reviews, analyses, and investigations into specific problem or opportunity areas.
  • Recommending and implementing improvements to financial reporting and control processes.
Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant with a minimum of 2 years PQE in a commercial environment.
  • Technically strong with substantial management accounting and budgeting experience.
  • Previous commercial/business partnering experience is an advantage.
  • Strong Excel and data management skills.
  • Working knowledge/experience of accounting software packages (SAP is an advantage).

We are looking for a self-motivated and driven individual with strong presentation skills using financial and non-financial data. The ability to challenge and influence is essential, as well as a confident and professional demeanor when dealing with senior non-Finance colleagues up to Director level.
