We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Clinician - Addiction Medicine to join our team at Practice Plus Group. As a leading independent provider of NHS services, we deliver high-quality care to over 40,000 patients in secure environments.
Estimated Salary: £46,500 per annum FTE (full-time equivalent), depending on experience.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a range of treatment options, including clinical and psychosocial interventions, and supporting your colleagues in group work delivery and clinical interventions. You will also be involved in comprehensive assessments and development of individualised recovery plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver treatment options, including clinical and psychosocial interventions
- Support in group work delivery and occasional dispensing support
- Liaison with prescribers and Recovery Practitioners on clinical interventions
- Comprehensive assessments and development of individualised recovery plans
Requirements:
- Registered nurse with current NMC registration
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development (CPD)
- RCGP 1 in Substance Misuse or willingness to undertake
- Sound clinical substance misuse knowledge
