With significant transformation and economic regeneration underway, we are seeking an exceptional Occupational Therapist to lead our Community Occupational Therapy Team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of occupational therapists in providing high-quality services to our community. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of occupational therapists in delivering effective and efficient services
  • Provide regular consultation and guidance to staff on occupational therapy cases
  • Monitor workload and performance of staff within their team
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and quality
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure seamless service provision
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required

Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years post-qualifying clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • A minimum of 2 years leadership experience in a health or social care setting
  • Recognised leadership training/qualification
  • BSc (Hons) or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
  • Current registration with Health and Care Professions Council

Salary

We offer a competitive salary range of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
