Job Overview

We are partnering with a leading FMCG business to find an experienced Production Maintenance Specialist. This is a permanent role based in the North East of England.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining production equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime. They will work closely with the engineering team to deliver strategic plans and maintain site KPI targets.

  • Maintain production efficiency by performing planned maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and supporting line change-overs
  • Collaborate with the engineering department to achieve their vision and objectives
  • Monitor and improve OEE to meet site targets
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the engineering environment
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and health and safety standards
  • Support capital engineering projects through collaboration with relevant stakeholders
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • FMCg experience, preferably in food or packaging
  • A minimum ONC in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
What We Offer
