About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adults Learning Disability Support Worker to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic care and support to individuals with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to residents, promoting independence and enabling them to live as independently as possible.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other professionals.
  • Contribute to a supportive team environment, sharing knowledge and expertise to ensure high-quality care.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • At least 6 months of experience working in a social care setting.
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
