Culinary Expert

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Expert to join our team at The Grantley Arms, a renowned pub in the heart of Wonersh. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

The Grantley Arms has been a staple in the community for over 500 years, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes everyone feel at home. Our commitment to using only the freshest seasonal produce ensures that every dish is a masterpiece.

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum, which reflects the importance we place on attracting and retaining top talent in the industry.

This role involves working closely with our Head Chef to design and deliver new dishes for our menus and daily specials. You will be responsible for championing excellent service through quality food, demonstrating a passion for delivering fantastic food every time, and being an active hands-on Culinary Expert/Kitchen Supervisor.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

• Experience championing excellent service through quality food
• A passion for delivering fantastic food every time
• An active approach to learning new skills, being a team player with excellent communication skills
• The ability to demonstrate creativity and flair in designing and delivering new dishes
• Great planning and organisational skills, necessary to maintain effective controls with regard to both GP and labour
• A proactive approach to driving sales and delivering growth, through engagement with both kitchen and front of house teams
