Job Overview:We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Personal Development Coach to join our team at Excell Supply Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting students in achieving their academic and personal goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Student Support: Provide one-on-one coaching to Further Education students, assessing their needs and developing tailored support plans to help them succeed.
- Collaboration with Curriculum Teams: Work closely with tutors and curriculum teams to ensure cohesive and consistent support for students. Regular communication with colleagues is essential to provide an integrated learning experience.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage participant records, coordinate training schedules, and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and emerging trends to continuously improve student support services.
- Qualifications: A minimum of GCSE grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Motivational Skills: Ability to inspire and support students in overcoming challenges and achieving their full potential.
- Target-Driven Experience: Proven ability to meet performance targets in challenging environments.
- Adaptability & Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and quickly familiarize yourself with new qualifications and opportunities.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, colleagues, and external partners.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized with a keen diligence and the ability to work independently under pressure.
- IT Proficiency: Competence with email, internet, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Experience in Education/Training Settings: Previous experience in educational or training environments, with a strong understanding of student needs and support strategies.
- Customer Service Excellence: Ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and external partners, providing exceptional customer service.
- Previous experience in coaching, mentoring, or a related educational role, ideally within a Further Education setting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong, positive relationships with learners, colleagues, and external partners.
- Good IT and administrative skills, including experience with educational software and managing student records.
- Ability to assess and understand students' needs, developing tailored support plans to help them succeed.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- An empathetic, student-centred approach to coaching, with the ability to take initiative and respond to student needs.
- Competitive Daily Pay Rate: £100 per day.
