About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join our team at Eden Scott in Glasgow. As a key member of our financial services team, you will play a vital role in supporting our Financial Advisers and contributing to the growth and success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of comprehensive Suitability Reports to ensure our clients receive tailored advice and guidance.
  • Liaising with product providers to collate pension and investment information for replacement contracts, ensuring seamless execution and client satisfaction.
  • Providing technical support to the team, including paraplanning and research support, to maintain high standards of service delivery.
  • Carrying out market research on behalf of our Financial Advisers, ensuring they have the most up-to-date information to inform their advice.
  • Assisting in the on-going due diligence reviews of investment funds and Platforms, ensuring our clients' investments are aligned with their goals and risk tolerance.
  • Providing support to our Financial Advisers and MD, contributing to the development of our business and the growth of our team.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Significant experience as a Paraplanner, either having completed your exams or made substantial progress towards them (exams fully supported).
  • A strong background in both Pensions and Investments, with excellent report writing skills.
  • Experience of using research tools such as FE Analytics, with knowledge of Intelligent Office being advantageous but not essential.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality work, with a flexible and enthusiastic approach to your role.
  • A willingness to contribute to the growth and development of our business, with opportunities for career progression and professional development.
