Special Steel Group is seeking a highly skilled Machine Shop Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of our precision machining facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our machine shop, managing a team of employees, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and supervise employees to achieve operational output, quality of parts, and discipline
* Maintain health and safety, quality, and operational procedures within the facility
* Manage machine tool condition, performance, service, and repair
* Collaborate with the Production Manager and laboratory management team to plan and control production

Requirements:

* Supervisor experience in an engineering environment, preferably with manual and CNC equipment
* Strong technical and leadership skills to focus employees and deliver high-quality products
* Self-driven and ambitious with strong people management and team building skills
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
