
Meeting and Events Sales Manager

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Meeting and Events Sales Manager to join our team at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing future and repeat business by converting customer enquiries into confirmed sales.
The successful candidate will have previous managerial or supervisory experience in a Meetings and Events Sales function in the hotel/leisure sector, with strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve high levels of performance and exceed targets.
Key Responsibilities- Maximise all Meeting and Events Sales revenue opportunities
- Manage the department's day-to-day operations and activities
- Review business plans, identify gaps and ensure proactive efforts to fill capacity and meet set targets
- Contribute to the selling strategy of the hotel
You will be working closely with customers, guests and team members to develop relationships and secure rollover business.
What We Are Looking ForWe are looking for an individual with excellent selling capability and the ability to coach selling techniques to their team. You should also have strong analytical skills to understand key business indicators and competitive trends and develop approaches to these challenges.
A salary of around £45,000 - £55,000 per annum is available for this role, depending on experience.
