We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our small Warehouse team. This role involves driving, so the successful candidate must have a full, clean driving license and preferably prior experience delivering to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer inbound and outbound bookings using third-party software and a courier network to maintain high shipping standards.
  • Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
  • Accurately receive inbound deliveries.
  • Locate and transfer stock between the warehouse and technical operations area.
  • Keep relevant Warehouse records up-to-date and communicate changes/delays to appropriate departments.
  • Monitor outbound shipments and communicate delays to the relevant department.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with preferred carriers, freight forwarders, and couriers.
  • Produce accurate commercial paperwork upon request.
  • Drive the company van for occasional same-day deliveries and daily stock collection within a mile radius.
  • Administer consignment route planning, including vehicle planning, to ensure cost-effective methods are used for speedy freight transition and delivery.
Requirements:
  • Previous employment in a warehouse environment is desirable.
  • Possession of a valid Electric Pallet Stacker license is preferred.
  • Full clean UK driving license, held for a minimum of years to meet insurance requirements.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to assist with other departments as required.
  • Self-sufficiency in managing deliveries.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of picking and packing customer orders.
  • Experience of delivering goods to customers in a customer-facing capacity.
