Paediatrician with Expertise in Allergy

Job Summary
We are seeking a Consultant Paediatrician with a special interest in Allergy to join our team at the Princess Royal University Hospital in Bromley. The role will be a fixed-term position for 12 months, with a focus on working within the multidisciplinary team to provide and develop care for children.
Main Duties of the Job
The appointed consultant will continue to work with the acute paediatric team, transforming how primary care, community services, and secondary care paediatric services work together. The role will include general paediatric and allergy clinics at PRUH, in-reach clinics within Child Health Hubs, MDT triage, and general paediatric Consultant of the Week (COW) on-call duties.

Job Responsibilities
This is a 12-month fixed-term Consultant post. The remit of the postholder will be to work within the multidisciplinary team providing and further developing care for children at PRUH, and to provide and develop Paediatric services within Bromley ICS. In addition, the individual will be required to play an active role in the general workload of the Care Group while having a significant commitment to teaching and training of junior staff.
Key Requirements
- MRCPCH or equivalent
- APLS/EPLS provider status, up to date
- Full registration with GMC and CCT in Paediatrics or equivalent
Desirable Requirements
- SPIN module accreditation in Paediatric Allergy
