We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Radiographer to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our CT department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Main Responsibilities- Perform CT scans and other imaging procedures to diagnose and treat a range of medical conditions.
- Work closely with our CT Operational Lead Radiographers, CT Modality Lead, and wider team to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to achieve excellent patient care.
- Participate in quality assurance and clinical governance initiatives to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and care.
- Contribute to the recruitment and selection process of Band 3 staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- BSc Radiography or DCR qualification.
- Current Health and Care Professions Council registration.
- IV cannulation skills or willingness to achieve this skill in-house.
- Post-qualification experience in general and specialized imaging procedures, including CT.
- Evidence of continuing professional development, including attendance at relevant short courses and study days.
- Participation in quality assurance and clinical governance initiatives.
- Experience as a Radiation Protection Supervisor.
- Postgraduate qualification in CT or willingness to undertake this.
- CT Colon training or willingness to undertake this.
