Credit Controller

Abird/Apex (CES Global) is a leading provider of temporary power solutions, and we're looking for a skilled Credit Controller to join our UK Finance Team. As a key member of the team, you'll be responsible for collecting accounts in accordance with agreed payment terms, working closely with the sales team to resolve overdue accounts, and maintaining accurate records of all actions taken on accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of customers and collect outstanding debt in accordance with agreed payment terms
  • Work closely with the sales team to resolve overdue accounts and maintain positive customer relationships
  • Reconcile accounts to ensure accurate statements and cash/credit notes are posted to invoices as required
  • Record all actions taken on accounts using the debt management system
  • Attend calls with the sales team to resolve disputes and resolve financial queries

Requirements:

  • Experience in credit control and debt collection, with a proven track record of success
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel and able to analyze complex data
  • Problem-solving ability and good communication skills
