Job Details

**Job Role:**
Teaching assistants are required to support children and adults with a range of additional needs in a special school setting. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a positive impact on students' learning and lives.

**Working Pattern:**
Full-time, term-time position with 5 training days per year.

Teaching assistants will work in a dynamic and challenging environment, supporting students with learning and behaviour needs. The role requires a calm, friendly, and consistent manner, with a focus on achieving the best outcomes for students.

**Responsibilities:**
  • Support students with learning and behaviour needs in a special school setting.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive school culture.
