We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at our modern, independent mixed veterinary practice located in the heart of Devon.

About the Role:

You will work alongside a passionate group of vets, RVNs, ANAs, and support staff to deliver high-quality care and build lasting relationships with our clients.

  • Provide expert preventive health advice tailored to pet species.
  • Undertake thorough medical workups and further diagnostics as needed.
  • Perform routine and emergency surgeries with precision and care.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners about treatment options and plans.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development (CPD) to stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine.
Requirements:
  1. A professional member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons with the right to practice in the UK.
  2. At least 1 year of experience as a small animal veterinary surgeon.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both with clients and the veterinary team.
  4. Compassionate and empathetic, with a genuine passion for animal welfare.
  5. Proactive mindset with an interest in expanding our range of small animal services and specialties.
