A skilled Carpenter and Joiner is sought after by Rogers McHugh Recruitment to join a rapidly growing bespoke house builder based in Musselburgh, who specialises in home improvement services including extensions & renovation.

The ideal candidate will have experience in this sector and a minimum of a blue CSCS.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Fabricate and assemble wooden structures to specifications.
  2. Measure, cut and shape wood using power tools and hand tools.
  3. Install windows, doors and other fixtures.
  4. Plumb and level structures to ensure proper alignment.
  5. Install roofing materials and perform basic masonry work.
  6. Apply paint or other finishes to surfaces as needed.
Essential Skills
  1. Blue CSCS
  2. Proficient in using power tools and hand tools.
  3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  4. Strong knowledge of different types of wood and their properties.
  5. Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements.
  6. Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labour.
  7. Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
