Job Title: Technology Portfolio Manager

Our global Insurance & ReInsurance organization seeks a seasoned Senior Product Owner with expertise in either Actuarial or Underwriting & Claims environments.

This senior leadership position requires a proven track record of building strong relationships with senior business stakeholders and driving end-to-end delivery of reliable IT solutions.

About the Role:

The Senior Product Owner will work closely with senior Finance, Actuarial, and Treasury business stakeholders to understand their IT system requirements and align them with our newly introduced Product-Centric way of working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy & Vision: Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals and customer needs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders, leadership, and cross-functional teams to capture requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Backlog Management: Maintain and prioritize a clear, actionable product backlog to deliver key features and improvements.
  • Agile Leadership: Lead agile ceremonies and drive the team to deliver high-quality results in an efficient and collaborative manner.
  • Customer-Centric Thinking: Use data-driven insights and customer feedback to inform decisions and enhance the product experience.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with design, engineering, marketing, and operations teams to ensure successful delivery of features and services.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and collaborate with teams to enhance workflows, product quality, and time-to-market.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and product performance to deliver value to the business and customers.
  • Leadership: Mentor junior product owners and collaborate with other senior leaders to drive product excellence across the organization.

The estimated salary for this role is up to £120,000 per annum, along with exceptional benefits including 20% bonus, 18% pension, £6,000 car allowance, training budget, travel loans, and numerous soft leisurely benefits.
