Clinical Systems Implementation Specialist

Gateshead Health is a leading healthcare provider in the North East of England, and we're looking for an experienced Clinical Systems Implementation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical systems implementation team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our order communication systems are effective, aligned with clinical safety standards, and compliant with information governance, data protection, and information security management requirements.
In this role, you'll work closely with our diagnostic order communications systems team to develop, maintain, and deliver regional order communications projects. You'll lead the development of system enhancements, upgrade road maps, and training programs, as well as facilitate the sharing of system management standards, guidance, best practices, and compliance with relevant legislation.
We're looking for someone with sound experience in staff supervision and line management, as well as PRINCE2/Agile project management qualifications. You should be able to develop strategies and policies in line with legislative changes, have knowledge of data protection, freedom of information, and other legislation impacting information security, and be able to manage risk effectively.
The salary for this role is £58,000-£68,000 per annum, depending on experience.
