Are you a skilled engineer looking for a challenging role in the aerospace and defence industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Engineer - Structural Engineering to join our team in Barrow-in-Furness.
The RoleAs a Principal Engineer - Structural Engineering, you will be responsible for:
- Undertaking technical reviews and verifying engineering designs.
- Defining qualification obligations for assurance hold points during build, test, and commissioning.
- Providing assurance to the Design Authority on the adequacy and robustness of the Safety Case and supporting documentation.
You will work on complex, cutting-edge projects and have the opportunity to achieve a work-life balance. Our team is committed to innovation and creativity, and we offer long-term contracts.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- An engineering degree (BEng/MEng) or equivalent experience in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural based fields.
- Experience working on complex projects and a strong understanding of structural engineering principles.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
