Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to oversee a recently awarded contract for fire safety works. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team and ensuring the successful delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage fire detection and alarm systems, including smoke and heat detectors and integrated systems in common parts
  • Coordinate the installation of fire and smoke dampers within flats onto communal ducts
  • Oversee the installation of emergency and communal lighting
  • Manage the installation of smoke ventilation systems, including mechanical and natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilation systems and AOVs

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in electrical project management and contract management skills
  • Knowledge of building regulations and electrical codes
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage project schedules and budgets effectively
  • Detail-oriented and organized approach to work
  • Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • BS 8629,2019 – Design, Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance of Evacuation Alert Systems
